Toast two slices of your favorite bread. Slice a fresh local tomato. Spread one slice of toast with a thin layer of mayo (optional), top with tomatoes, sprinkle with salt & pepper, and top that with basil leaves. Cover with the other slice of bread, and take a crunch-juicy bite. Summer is a long time coming, but this makes it worth the wait.Served up by Tod Dimmick,
